QUEENSBRIDGE – Last year Billboard.com released a Hot 100 list that revealed the funniest rappers of all
time; this year, they’ve ranked the least funny rappers. Nas came out victorious.

“We felt that Nas’ outlook on life was far from funny. He thinks that life’s a bitch and he’s constantly in a New York state of mind. We all know that New York’s overwhelming filth and crime is not a laughing matter,” said Billboard representative Andy Berkowitz.

“In fact, Nas is so far from funny that we cut our 100-person list down to 1, just for him.”

Nas didn’t seem phased by the news. During a phone interview with 106 & Park he told Bow Wow, “What’s there to laugh about? No one can pronounce my real name, Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, and I have to pay my former Nubian queen Kelis $55,000 a month in child support.”

The rapper also denied rumors that he found the Joker’s haunting phrase, “Why so serious?,” written in feces on his brand new Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster.

Nas ended the BET interview by announcing his return to acting next spring. He will appear in a painfully serious cop drama with alongside Viggo Mortensen, Russell Crowe, Daniel Day Lewis and Liam Neeson.

Director Ridley Scott reported seeing Nas laugh out loud after reading the script and realizing that he was the first cop to die.
