Jay-Z Finally Gets Around To Listening to Kanye Track “Big Brother”

NEW YORK – Six years after the release Kanye West‘s song “Big Brother,” Jay-Z has reportedly finally gotten around to listening to it.

Kanye originally wrote the love song as a tribute to Jay-Z and refers to him in it as his “idol” and “mentor.” Those close to him say the song has actually come to haunt Kanye, as he has never known for sure whether Jay-Z has heard the song or not.

“He waits day-in and day-out for Jay-Z to acknowledge the song. It’s real, real stressful for him,” says friend and basketball star Lamar Odom.

Reps from Hova’s camp say the artist happened upon the song when it came on his easy listening rap Pandora station while tucking in his baby, Blue Ivy.

In a recent interview, Jay-Z praised the song saying, “It’s a real cool song. I just never knew that ‘Ye had a big brother.”
