ATLANTA- Rapper and acclaimed children’s book author Gucci Mane has yet again found himself in trouble with the law. The musician was arrested last Thursday for trying to bring a 14th century medieval catapult into an Atlanta nightclub.

At 1:05 a.m. Gucci Mane attempted to enter the club with the three-thousand-pound catapult tucked into his waistband. The weapon was first identified during a routine patdown by the bouncer, Killah.

“I lifted up his shirt and there it was, a twenty five foot tall tool of siege warfare,” said Killah.

At 1:30 a.m. the police arrived and arrested Gucci Mane just before he was able to load and fire the catapult.

After searching his car, authorities found multiple firearms, a movie-quality light saber, and what they believe to be the “nanomite doomsday device” from the film GI Joe: Retaliation.

Many journalists believe that Gucci Mane’s recent actions have solidified his transition from “common criminal” to “full on cartoon supervillain.”

“In a recent CNN interview at Gucci Mane’s secret underwater lair, the artist was visibly surging with radioactive energy and the Fantastic Four were very clearly trapped in some kind of energy cage in the background,” said CNN correspondent, Christiane Amanpour.

Despite the controversy, Gucci Mane continues to keep a level head,

“I know I am innocent and the facts will come out in court. Until then I am just trying to ignore the gossip and live my life,” said Gucci Mane to a bound and gagged Inspector Gadget.
